Performance Anxiety

Performance, or generalized anxiety disorder is a form of social anxiety disorder that a person, when confronted with certain performance situations that increase their anxiety are affected. The same effect when they run out alone may not always be fear, but an attempt to make it publicly makes them nervous and uncomfortable. There is a feeling of fear, under the control of others. Some of the examples of performance are anxietySinging in public, reading, submitting a report in an office meeting and public speeches. Unlike generalized anxiety if the person is under stress, most of the time, regardless of the reason is the corresponding stage fright is milder and only in special situations. Under normal circumstances, the person remains calm.

Performance anxiety has no physical health effects directly. However, a person to perform the activity, can take high dosesof drugs or alcohol can be harmful to health. The symptoms of anxiety power are similar to generalized anxiety, such as sweating, trembling and palpitations, but only occur when a person is faced with the situation. The therapy also focuses on self-esteem, anger, anxiety and other psychological problems.

Performance anxiety generally starts in the mid-twenties, as a person, interacting with others and beginstarts the execution of various activities in public. Performance anxiety at an early age should be reviewed so that there is no impact on the future of the human being as an adult.
